“ We can’t heal the world today but we can begin with a voice of compassion, a heart of love and an act of kindness.” Mary Davis
In these challenging times, where COVID is impacting everyone around the globe, it is time to remind ourselves of a universal message from this part of the world – Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – the whole world is one family.
Compassion impacts the person who practices it as well as the person who receives it. It also impacts observers of the act of compassion - me, you and others.
During this distressing period, where physical distancing is compulsory, Showers of Compassion is joyfully offering ways to cope with the present situation not only to smaller groups of people but also to the whole world. This offering of love and compassion aims to improve the mental - emotional wellbeing and resilience of patients and their family members, healthcare workers, and of those who have lost their loved ones due to COVID.
“If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”- Dalai Lama.
Showers of Compassion is a global group for healing through compassion, conceptualized by Rakhee Sharma, Mindful Leadership Coach and Facilitator.
